Service Description
Postnatal Yoga is a form of yoga specifically designed for women during the first twelve months following childbirth. This practice can typically begin after 6 weeks for a normal vaginal birth; however, a minimum of 2 months (with doctors release) is required for Cesarean Section or delivery complications. Postnatal Yoga is a gentle practice that includes gradual abdominal strengthening and poses to help lift and tone the uterus and pelvic floor. These classes are customized to address any specific conditions that are being experienced as a result of pregnancy and childbirth, such as Diastases Rectus, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, or Incontinence. These classes are a perfect opportunity for a new mother to relax, restore and recharge!
